2018-19 Pre-Season Schedule

The Marpole Vancouver Tropics are kicking off the 2018-19 Fall/Winter Season on September 10th 2018.

For Pre-Season preparation, we begin workouts August 14th (for times and locations refer to the calendar).

This season, games will be on Sundays with training on Tuesday and Thursday.

Coaches Olivio Simoncioni and Geoffrey Hansen are please to welcome new and returning players to a promising new season.

New players are welcome, but participation in pre-season is required to learn our systems.

2017-18 Season Kick Off

The Marpole Vancouver Tropics are kicking off the 2017-18 Fall/Winter Season this week. After weekly summer scrimmages and many players in recreational leagues, we begin our Fall season with a team practice Thursday September 7th and our first league game on Sunday September 10th. With almost all players from last season returning, we have a goalkeeper position and five outfield positions open for our desired roster size for the season. We are actively recruiting for these additional players. This season, games will be on Sundays with training on Tuesday and Thursday. Welcome to the 2020-2021 Fall/Winter Season - the New Normal

 The Marpole Vancouver Tropics are kicking off the 2020-21 Fall/Winter Season on Tuesday September 8th 2020.  Last season ended prematurely due to COVID-19.   All of the 2019-20 players as well as "alumni" are welcome back ... between the 8th and 17th we'll decide on a roster for VMSL Div 2 play .... any new players please fill in the form here to be considered (and receive info on times/dates)  https://tropicsfc.blogspot.com/p/request-try.html We will be having a competitive roster this year as well as a "training only" option. We offer "training only" for players returning from injury and for players with health concerns during the pandemic.
